Philanthropy Vs Spirituality

I usually don’t share clichéd topics and photo shop works done by others. But I believe this one is worth sharing to spread an idea or the great vision by Mr Kochouseph Chittilappilli.  Let me make it very clear that, this is not to tarnish the reputation of the pseudo goddess “Mata Amritanandamayi”. I hope, most of you people understood that  what context I am referring to by seeing the picture below.

Nevertheless, for few of my friends who are not familiar with this man, refer the link below.
KochousephChittilappilly By the way, I am not an advocate of Mr. Chittilappilly, I don’t know him personally.  But I strongly feel that I should put my modest effort in sharing his great vision and my thoughts about the bogus spiritual world and the dogma created by new age shepherds.

Recalling my chat with my co passenger in cochin airport.  The article about Mr. Chittilappilly giving 5.5 Cr to bolster Mullaperiyar dam, in that day’s news paper lead him to make a random loose comment, that says ‘Seems Mr. Chittilappilly is aiming for some awards and its all for name & fame’ and got into his typical sarcastic smile, as if he has done a better job. I did not find any fun in continuing the conversation with him, but that made me think about the way people see things and tweak the truth. I asked him a question back that, ‘Being Christians (that includes me), just tell me one single example that any of our priests did something like this?’  They are supposed to be the mentors and most of them are living missionary life without the burden of family and kids, Can understand if a home maker is having apprehension to being a organ donor, quite natural. Ok forget about organ donation, monetary support to needy people while they struggle. I saw the smile fading away from his face and he had no answer to my question.  We wrapped up the discussion and topic as I was not comfortable going further.

Connecting to the recent scam – Jacobite Bishop Kuriakose Mar Cleemis, former bishop of Idukki diocese, alleged that he had paid Rs 3 crore to the leadership to get the Bishop title four years ago – where this money come from ? where it goes? This reiterates that the decision I took long back was right, that i had stopped take blessings from scam masters, who contribute nothing to the society.  I really don’t know whether I will be out casted from the parish for being candid and speaking out (any revolutionary Jacobite brothers reading this?) Ok whatever, let me be democratic at least in thoughts. Here the concern is not only about the priests, where is our politicians?, yoga gurus? film stars? social activists? Hey don’t be afraid, I am not talking about organ donation, that is meant only for real men like Mr. Chittilippilly, what about sharing a few 100s/ 1000s to the needy people instead putting it into the pool of scams ?

Going back to the thought process of my co passenger - Awards, Name & Fame !!
Damn, Chittilappilly as a proven successful business tycoon, he could have made it in casinos of Las Vegas, buy an IPL team, Buy an antique diamond piece in auction from London, or anything  that money can buy to create a buzz in the national media. But he choose to be different, that made him offer support of Rs. 5 L to  Ms Reini, who donated a part of her liver to her niece.  Honestly I never had seen a thought leader like him, neither in politics nor in spirituality. Taking his own words- "I am for deeds, not mere words"..........Hats off to you.!!

UDF Victory in Neyatinkara

The latest by- election and UDF victory in Neyattinkara, Tvm, clearly shows Tvm ites are level-headed and medias in kerala do a wonderful job in portraying the political scenario in kerala. While Kerala is eagerly looking at the murder of T P, UDF played the cards smartly by exploiting the situation and tweaked that emotional drive into votes in Neyatinkara, which brought success to morons like selvaraj. The current political scenario in Kerala is pro- congress and with support of OC Govt, any moron can win any by-election with congress ticket, and that’s what happened here.  Comparing OC with the last few CMs in Kerala, OC had conquered the charisma to impress voters by exploiting all possible political situations, and that made CPI(M)to loose the plot, and it is a highly remarkable achievement by UDF.
http://www.deccanchronicle.com/channels/nation/south/udf-win-neyyattinkara-again-fillip-oommen-chandy-032

The triumph of Selvaraj is nothing but the result of the vulnerability by the lack of candidate choice. Rather, let me put it in this way, people were in position that, they got raped and  forced to have the kid due to the pro-life policy of Govt. Sometimes I feel that the structure of Indian constitution sucks and sulking, and we have become the captive audience to the political drama by these morons. It is for sure that Selvaraj changed the league not by thrust to serve people but for personal interest.  The moral standards and ethics of politicians have been gone for toss and Indian politics is migrating to the corporate culture.  The corporate slogan will soon be “ by the seat, for the seat, from the seat”.

Through him SALVATION.

A Revolutionary shepherd - CPI(M) No offence made..

SALVATION OR REVOLUTION
Folks,
I am sure most of you people must have gone through the recent activities done by CPI (M) to glorify or tarnish (take it as per your own perception) the reputation Christianity by portraying Jesus Christ as a revolutionary. I have my own reservations about the way the issue being handled by the new age shepherds of Christians.
http://m.indianexpress.com/news/cross-their-hearts/910754/

Having said that, When we look at rituals that we follow to worship the saviour, it differs from people to people and region to region, So in simple words- nobody has got any right to oppose or accept the views that CPI (M) or anyone made about Jesus Christ, as long as they don’t hamper X’ian followers in worshiping the Saviour in their own views and ways. In a recent discussion forum i attended despite my rebuff, few of my friends were trying to prove that Christianity is not religion but a way of approach or even like a face book page to follow. (I personally  deny here)Hence, it is clear and evident that, everyone has got their own view to Mr. God,  and there is a propensity to  portray Jesus as communist martyr or a congress freedom fighter or a BJP follower, it’s all absolutely depending upon your personal view to the society, religion, politics and the angle you keep towards the issue.

Being a Christian, these drawings, cartoons and media gimmicks won’t shake the true faith of the Christ followers. I would rather say, our comrades may have got inspired by reading Holy Bible to write Das Kapital, as first volume of DK was published in AD 1867. But the irony is that our comrades took 1867 years to get inspired, or 2012 years to admit/ fabricate the plot. And it took as many years for our priests to authorise and acknowledge that Saviour is a revolutionary.

Still there is one question left- why don’t our priests  keep Che- Guvara  in the church premises. ?or is it merely a mistake of misunderstanding the word SALVATION and REVOLUTION !!! ?Let me reiterate the phrase again - Through him SALVATION,       (not revolution)

For Kochiites, what to do if the Mullaperiyar dam breaks !!

For people in Cochin and nearby areas, there would be a time gap of 3 hours before the water reaches the city limits. The water reaching with full force towards the city would be around 20-25 feet high. The first 2-3 minutes holds the key to surviving the speeding water. After 5-10 minutes the force of the water flow decreases and within an hour and a half, the water level subsides.

The main route the water will flow is via the Periyar River. People living near the river side can find a safe spot by travelling towards Thrissur. Those living near Aluva, Kalamassery, Edapally can find a safe spot by travelling towards Kattor, Iringalakkuda, Peraambra or Kodakara. But it is better to travel towards Thrissur. People living near Vytilla, Fort Kochi and Ernakulam can find a safe spot by travelling towards Aleppey.

Carpooling will be an effective method to save more lives because every life is important. It is best to drive in a single line. With panic rising, there is a huge chance for people to drive haphazardly and traffic to slow down. If you find yourself stuck in traffic with no tall building within vicinity for escape, stay in the car, while keeping the engine running and completely closing all the windows. Reason being that even when you car in underwater, there would be lesser chance for the water to seep into the car when engine running this might help u survive the first first 2-3 mins of heavy force of water. Boarding a train might be a good idea and flight is a big NO because the airport is close to Periyar River.

Those who cannot get vehicles should try to get on top of buildings - flats, the Kaloor stadium or the gallery stand should be reasonable safe. Although the stadium is not so tall, its construction is such that the water will take more time to get inside its complex structure. The newly constructed Lulu mall should also be safe with its complex construction. People in remote and coastal areas should try getting on top of hills, get on to boats or swim 1-2 km into the sea with inflated tubes or life jackets.

Avoid flats with parking areas on the ground floor. As they stand on pillars (made of hollow bricks) the force of water and debris that it collects on the way can make it collapse. If you are stuck at home, empty syntax tanks or refrigerators and stay inside; these things will float and can absorb shock up to an extent. If you have old tyres, tie it to something strong and tie yourself to the tyre. Stay away from petrol pumps and gas stations.

JLP - Proposed Vs Existing

Existing System
  • No politician or senior officer ever goes to jail despite huge evidence because Anti Corruption Branch (ACB) and CBI directly come under the government. Before starting investigation or prosecution in any case, they have to take permission from the same bosses, against whom the case has to be investigated.
  • No corrupt officer is dismissed from the job because Central Vigilance Commission, which is supposed to dismiss corrupt officers, is only an advisory body. Whenever it advises government to dismiss any senior corrupt officer, its advice is never implemented.
  • No action is taken against corrupt judges because permission is required from the Chief Justice of India to even register an FIR against corrupt judges.
  • Nowhere to go - People expose corruption but no action is taken on their complaints.
  • There is so much corruption within CBI and vigilance departments. Their functioning is so secret that it encourages corruption within these agencies.
  • Weak and corrupt people are appointed as heads of anti-corruption agencies.
  • Citizens face harassment in government offices. Sometimes they are forced to pay bribes. One can only complaint to senior officers. No action is taken on complaints because senior officers also get their cut.
  • Nothing in law to recover ill gotten wealth. A corrupt person can come out of jail and enjoy that money.
  • Small punishment for corruption- Punishment for corruption is minimum 6 months and maximum 7 years.

System Proposed by civil society
  • Lokpal at centre and Lokayukta at state level will be independent bodies. ACB and CBI will be merged into these bodies. They will have power to initiate investigations and prosecution against any officer or politician without needing anyone’s permission. Investigation should be completed within 1 year and trial to get over in next 1 year. Within two years, the corrupt should go to jail.
  • Lokpal and Lokayukta will have complete powers to order dismissal of a corrupt officer. CVC and all departmental vigilance will be merged into Lokpal and state vigilance will be merged into Lokayukta.
  • Lokpal & Lokayukta shall have powers to investigate and prosecute any judge without needing anyone’s permission.
  • Lokpal & Lokayukta will have to enquire into and hear every complaint.
  • All investigations in Lokpal & Lokayukta shall be transparent. After completion of investigation, all case records shall be open to public.  Complaint against any staff of Lokpal & Lokayukta shall be enquired and punishment announced within two months.
  • Politicians will have absolutely no say in selections of Chairperson and members of Lokpal & Lokayukta. Selections will take place through a transparent and public participatory process.
  • Lokpal & Lokayukta will get public grievances resolved in time bound manner, impose a penalty of Rs 250 per day of delay to be deducted from the salary of guilty officer and award that amount as compensation to the aggrieved citizen.
  • Loss caused to the government due to corruption will be recovered from all accused.
  • Enhanced punishment - The punishment would be minimum 5 years and maximum of life imprisonment.

Pinarayi Vijayan Demands CM's Resignation !!

http://www.asianetindia.com/news/cpm-steps-demand-cms-resignation_288039.html

Pinarayi Vijayan demands CM's resignation...

Dear Mr. Vijayan,
I am tired of reading news about political scams all over the country. I appreciate your effort and spirit for a making Kerala as a clean and corruption free  state. But let me just remind you about the Rs. 374 Cr, SNC Lavalin scam that you guys made during 1995. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SNC_Lavalin_scandal) At least, OC shown the manners to resign the charge of vigilance to face the enquiry.

Btw let me ask you....
What was your reaction, when CBI requested the HC of Kerala and the Governor for permission to prosecute you for Lavalin scam. ?
Don’t remember?  We remember,  Let me reiterate -You have shown all your jingoism by conducting Nava Kerala March. (http://www.hindu.com/2009/02/23/stories/2009022352730300.htm)

Why did  you fumble like this, If your hands were clean?
Do you still justify your action?

Do you agree to face the CBI prosecution? No?
If you can’t, Better you shut your stinking mouth, let keralites get some fresh air...

Pl dont come up with another "Nava kerala March" We are tired, we cant take it anymore... Plz
